10.08.2018 – New Testament: Phi 4.18
To read the Bible in a year, read Philippians 4 on October 8, In the year of our Lord 2018
By Don Ruhl
When you give every first day of the week into the church’s treasury, part of your contribution goes for supporting the preaching of the Gospel. Have you thought of what God thinks about you doing that?
Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God (Philippians 4.18).
He looks at your financial contributions as a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice. He wants us to announce to the world the Good News about His Son. When we do it, it pleases Him exceedingly.
Questions:
- Do you give every first day of the week?
- Did you know what God thought of your offering?
