What will you say at the Judgment?

Matthew Bible Background

01.08.2019 – New Testament: Matt 7.22–23

To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 7 on January 8, In the year of our Lord Christ 2019

By Don Ruhl

Jesus warned that not everyone who calls Him, “Lord,” shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of His Father in heaven. Then Jesus warned:

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matthew 7.22–23).

Be thinking now of what you want to say to the Lord because each of us has an appointment with Him. However, He revealed that some people will be shocked when they are not allowed into the kingdom, because they had worked lawlessness.
