God does not restrict Himself to matters of worship. Therefore, we should not but our concerns should imitate His. He told the children of Israel:

“You shall not pervert the judgment of your poor in his dispute. Keep yourself far from a false matter; do not kill the innocent and righteous. For I will not justify the wicked. And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous.”

– Exodus 23.6–8

Yes, worship God in spirit and in truth, but also live in harmony with the Holy Spirit and with the truth, then you shall do what the Lord wants you to do wherever you are.

Watch what you are doing because the people of the world are watching you. They want to know whether you will live up to what you believe and profess.

Questions:

  • Does your living match what you believe?
  • Are you a man or woman of integrity, doing the right thing out in the world?
