New Testament: Matt 20.34
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 20.17–34 on January 30, In the year of our Lord Christ 2020
By Don Ruhl
If you were blind and the Lord Jesus came walking by, what would you want Him to do for you? A couple of blind men had that experience during the ministry of Jesus. He asked them what they wanted Him to do. They asked for their sight.
So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
– Matthew 20.34
He touched them and gave them their sight. Amazing! Yet, if He created the heavens and the earth, and He did, then He could easily restore someone’s sight with such a method or with no method, if He so desired.
Questions:
- If Jesus asked you what you wanted Him to do for you, what would you say?
- What part of you, whether body or spirit, needs improvement the most?
