Old Testament: Exo 29.45–46
To read the Bible in a year, read Exodus 29–30 on February 2, In the year of our Lord Christ 2020

What does God want with His people. Let’s look at something that the Scriptures refer to constantly, including the New Testament.
“I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God. And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the LORD their God.”
– Exodus 29.45–46
God wants to dwell among His people and He wants to be their God. I call this The Family Promise of God, and it includes five parts, but only two of those are listed here.
Israel would know that Yahweh was their God when He delivered them from Egyptian bondage, and He would do it in a spectacular way, and the journey to their new land was also quite spectacular. There would be no mistaking who their God was.
Questions:
- Who is your God?
- Do you want God to dwell with you?
