New Testament: Tts 2.6–8
To read the Bible in a year, read Titus 2 on November 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2020
By Don Ruhl
Paul wrote to Titus about how things should be in the church. Most of what he said would apply to everyone in the church, but he also addressed certain groups, such as the young men, and what he said to them about their behavior certainly is not restricted to them, but they just need to give special emphasis to what he said by the Holy Spirit:
Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.
– Titus 2.6–8
Should all Christians observe those things? Yes, but you can probably see how young men especially should concentrate on those areas.
- If you are not a young man, what behavior should you improve in yourself?
- How can you help young men to be better Christians?
