When the Lamb of God opened the seals on the scroll that the Father had been holding, interesting things happened. Here is what happened with the opening of the second seal, 

When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

– Revelation 6.3–4 

This followed the opening of the first seal when a white horse went out conquering. Trouble followed the conquering of the white horse and its rider. If the first horse was the Son of God going out and conquering, then it does not surprise us to see great trouble following the work of Jesus Christ, for He promised that He did not come to send peace on the earth, but a sword. 

Good things happen when the church preaches the good news of Jesus Christ and His church, but evil does not rejoice and bad things happen also.
