New Testament: Matt 10.26
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 10.24–42 on January 13, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021
By Don Ruhl
Jesus told His disciples that some people would call Him Beelzebub. If they would call Him that, then what would they call those of His household? So, He encouraged His disciples:
“Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.”
– Matthew 10.26
The world would try to intimidate them, but they were to resist the temptation to fear, knowing that the evil of their enemies, God would reveal.
The world has not given up that tactic, but uses it on the church continually. Do not be intimidated. Always remember the Lord shall reveal in their lives what they have attempted to cover.
Questions:
- What do you fear?
- How have you overcome your fears?
