New Testament: Mark 13.1–2
To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 13.1–13 on March 10, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021
By Don Ruhl
Look at what one of the disciples of Jesus said to Him as they walked in Jerusalem where the beautiful temple of God was located,
Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”
– Mark 13.1
That disciple liked the impressive stones of the temple and he wanted the Lord to like the stones as well. However, pay attention to what Mark wrote next:
And Jesus answered and said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
– Mark 13.2
If Jesus came to your area, what would you show Him and why? What impresses you? Do you think the same thing impresses the Lord? What would He say about anything on the earth?
- Does anything that man has made match what God has made?
- If not, does that mean God does not care about what we do?
