Old Testament: Eze 44.15–16
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 43–44 on November 30, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021

Often we see a picture in the Scriptures of the falling away of Israel, but if you remember at Mount Sinai, when all of Israel worshiped a golden calf, the Levites remained faithful. For their faithfulness the Lord blessed them:
“But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord GOD. “They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.”
– Ezekiel 44.15–16
How would you like to hear that about you and the people with whom you associate? What a privilege. Whether we belong to the ancient tribe of Levi or not, let us remain faithful to the Lord even when the rest are not.
Questions:
- Do you have what it takes to remain faithful?
- Have you fallen away before and come back?
