New Testament: Rev 12.6
To read the Bible in a year, read Revelation 12 on December 21, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021
By Don Ruhl
God’s people, represented by a glorious woman, gave birth to the Christ. However, a great fiery red dragon, representing Satan, wanted to kill the Christ, but he escaped to heaven. Then the woman had to escape:
Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
– Revelation 12.6
Remember where this woman, God’s people, went (the wilderness), because she will show up later, but we will not recognize her.
For the time being, note that God prepared a place for her in the wilderness because he is always looking out for his people.
Questions:
- Does the number 1,260 show up anywhere else in the Book of Revelation?
- How many thirty-day months are 1,260 days?
- How many years does that equal?
- Can days ever represent years?
