Jesus taught us to see that whatever the Father does, the Son does also, making Him equal to the Father: 

“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.”

– John 5.21 

Only God can raise the dead and give them life. Therefore, it does not surprise us that the Father can raise the dead and give them life. Yet, Jesus of Nazareth also gives life to whomever He desires. 

Questions: 

• Is Jesus divine? 
• Should you believe in Jesus even as you believe in the Father?
