Do you remember Zelophehad? He was the one who had no sons, only daughters, and when he died his daughters were concerned that their father’s inheritance would be lost among the tribes of Israel. However, the Lord said that in the case of a man who dies without sons, the property was to go to his daughters and some other details were given. 

You will notice that he descended from a Syrian woman: 

The descendants of Manasseh: his Syrian concubine bore him Machir the father of Gilead, the father of Asriel. Machir took as his wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose name was Maachah. The name of Gilead’s grandson was Zelophehad, but Zelophehad begot only daughters…

– 1 Chronicles 7.14–19 

Manasseh and his Syrian concubine had Machir, who was the father of Gilead, and Zelophehad was the grandson of Gilead. 

Truly, all of the Israelites at first would have descended from people outside of Israel, because where else would the men get wives?
