Old Testament: Job 41.8–10

Job challenged God as the man debated with his friends as to why he had suffered so massively. God was hearing everything that they were saying. When God finally appeared and spoke to Job, he asked him many questions that he knew Job could not answer. Then in Job 41, God presented the vicious sea-going reptile, Leviathan. God challenged Job: 

“Lay your hand on him;
Remember the battle—
Never do it again!
Indeed, any hope of overcoming him is false;
Shall one not be overwhelmed at the sight of him?
No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up.
Who then is able to stand against Me?” 

– Job 41.8–10

Therefore, if Job could not even do that, why did he think he could enter into battle with the Creator of Leviathan and come out victorious? I think many people today need to consider the same question.
