Cry to God

Old Testament: Psa 3.4

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 1–3 on July 10, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

By Don Ruhl

David had many enemies after him, but he always did the most simple thing and found relief. Here is a sample of what he did:

I cried to the LORD with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill.
Selah

– Psalm 3.4

He simply cried to God about the situation and the Lord heard David, meaning that God helped David in the way that he needed help.

This is so easy, yet, we often forget to do it or we think that it will not help. Try it though, and see the Lord work in your life.

Questions:

  • Do you forget at times to pray to God, asking for help?
  • Do you pray to him about everything?
