Paul knew only one way to present the truth of God, and that was in a balanced way. He did not merely speak on the goodness of God and leave off the wrath of God, nor did he merely speak on the wrath of God and leave off the goodness of God, but Paul presented a balanced view of both. He reminded the elders of the Ephesian Church that he operated in this manner, 

“Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.”

– Acts 20.26–27 

Every preacher and teacher should have the same goal of declaring the whole counsel of God for the same reason, to be innocent of the blood of all men.
