Old Testament: Psa 133.1
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 132–135 on August 27, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
Not very often is it that we can have our cake and eat it too, but there is a time when that does happen with God’s people, as David sang:
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
– Psalm 133.1
If you have experienced brethren in Christ at war with one another, or if you have gone through a church split, you know the blessing of which David wrote. To see brethren in unity, and to be part of brethren in unity is truly a good and pleasant thing.
May the Lord bless all brethren who live together in unity!
Questions:
- Have you contributed to division?
- Have you contributed to unity?
- If you have contributed to unity, what did you do to bring it about?
