As we mingle among unbelievers in this world, we will get to know some of them well and establish friendships. That will lead to invitations from them to eat in their homes. However, they might present something at the meal that we do not like or object to for some reason. Paul said: 

If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake.

– 1 Corinthians 10.27 

Do not be thinking of your own taste, but think of this friend and the possibility that someday, by observing your holy life, he may desire to become as you are. If you have been offensive at his home, you may have pushed him away forever. You have to decide which is more important: Your eating pleasure? Or his salvation?
