Self-commendation means nothing, but this does

New Testament: 2Co 10.18

To read the Bible in a year, read Second Corinthians 10 on September 18, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

We hear much teaching about the self these days. It is all about self, according to all who have been psychologized. However, the Holy Spirit said:

For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

– 2 Corinthians 10.18

We can have all kinds of commendable thoughts about ourselves, but what counts is whom the Lord commends. He is the one who runs the universe. He knows how we function best. He is our Judge. He is our everything! Therefore, let us seek his commendation.
