New Testament: 2Ti 1.1
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Timothy 1 on October 27, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
After Jesus left the earth, He left everything in the charge of His apostles, meaning ones whom He had sent forth, and one of those men who was added to their number later, was Paul:
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus.
– 2 Timothy 1.1
Paul was certainly a fireball for the Lord, and the Lord Jesus Christ took him and made him an apostle with a special message and with special powers that he might help to get the Good News of salvation into the world, because God wants all people to have the opportunity to hear about the promise of eternal life.
