Old Testament: Jer 21.11–12
To read the Bible in a year, read Jeremiah 20–22 on October 27, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

When is the best time to repent of sin? NOW! Why wait? If you are headed in the wrong direction, turn around now! As the Lord had Jeremiah say:
“And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, ‘Hear the word of the LORD, O house of David! Thus says the LORD: Execute judgment in the morning; and deliver him who is plundered out of the hand of the oppressor, lest My fury go forth like fire and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.”
– Jeremiah 21.11–12
At the first opportunity, first thing in the morning, the king of Judah needed to fix what was wrong spiritually, otherwise, the fury of the Lord would go forth like fire and destroy Jerusalem.
