Paul had full confidence in the Lord that he would deliver the apostle from every evil effort against him: 

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

– 2 Timothy 4.18 

If you are doing what the Lord wants you to do, you should have the same confidence that the Lord will deliver you from every effort that men make against you. 

Do not doubt, but know that he sees the evil that people do against you, and that he will reward you wonderfully by letting you into his heavenly kingdom.

• Do you believe the Lord will deliver you?
