New Testament: 2Pe 3.17–18a
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Peter 3 on December 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
Peter wrote of the dangers awaiting the followers of Jesus Christ, but he also said in a few words how we can grow:
You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
– 2 Peter 3.17–18
We can keep from falling by learning what Peter wrote previous to these words, but if we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we will remain strong, steadfast, and immovable.
Learn of the grace and knowledge of Christ and see what those things do for you.
Questions:
- Can you say that you are growing spiritually year by year?
- Has someone ever led you astray before?
