The prince in Ezekiel’s temple

Old Testament: Eze 46.12

To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 45–46 on December 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022

By Don Ruhl

Ezekiel 46 speaks of the manner of worship that would take place in the temple that God showed the prophet. Concerning the prince, the instructions were:

“Now when the prince makes a voluntary burnt offering or voluntary peace offering to the LORD, the gate that faces toward the east shall then be opened for him; and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings as he did on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he goes out the gate shall be shut.”

– Ezekiel 46.12

He would need to make offerings, but since he is the prince, the gate would be open for him to enter and to exit.

I have not yet figured out the meaning of all this, but Lord willing, in time I hope to find out more about Ezekiel’s temple.
