New Testament: 1Jo 4.15
To read the Bible in a year, read First John 4 on December 5, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
For us to know the true identity of Jesus of Nazareth is very important to God the Father. Therefore, John wrote:
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
– 1 John 4.15
Think on that one for a while. If you confess that Jesus is the Son of God, that means that you have carefully considered the evidence for His Divine Sonship, and for that, God will abide in you and you will abide in God. Can you think of a more awesome truth?
Questions:
- What do you believe about Jesus?
- Why have you concluded those thoughts about Him?
