The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, leading to the declaration that the kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord. At that announcement, the twenty-four elders worshiped God on their faces, making their own declaration. Part of what they said was this: 

“The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

– Revelation 11.18 

The world hates the Lord and his people, and they do not realize what is coming upon them because of it! 

They are bringing on themselves the wrath of God and judgment against themselves, because the Lord is going to avenge himself against those who have persecuted his prophets and his saints.

• Does it seem to you that the world gets away with its anger against the Lord and his people? 
• What are you doing to save as many people as possible from the coming wrath of God?
