The Lord used the prophets, such as Micah, to rebuke his people, but he also used the prophets to show the glories that his people could see if they turned back to him, such as in this prophecy: 

“As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them wonders.”

– Micah 7.15 

The wonders that the Lord worked against Egypt for the benefit of Israel amaze us all. Could he do amazing things for his people again? Yes, but he wants their cooperation, even as he wants our cooperation. 

The Lord is eager to bless, but he is also eager to see our repentance.
