Jesus began his parable of the sower in this manner by getting people’s attention, telling them to listen: 

“Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.”

– Mark 4.3 

Listen and look. If the Son of God says to listen and to look, then listen and look! 

A sower sowed seed. Do we know the significance of what Jesus pictured? Jesus went on to explain that the seed represented the word of God. Therefore, listen to the word and look to it for knowing how to deal with the issues of your life.
