Old Testament: Deu 22.5
To read the Bible in a year, read Deuteronomy 20–22 on March 13, In the year of our Lord Christ 2023
By Don Ruhl
The Lord made clear in many ways that there are only two genders, male and female, and one is not to try to become the other:
“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.”
– Deuteronomy 22.5
God made each person as it pleased him. When people today try to become the other sex, they express disagreement with what the God of heaven has done. They may not always express that explicitly but that is what their actions imply.
If you are a man, dress as a man, and if you are a woman, dress as a woman.
Questions:
- What does the word, “abomination,” mean?
- Why did God make two genders?
