New Testament: John 6.36
To read the Bible in a year, read John 6.22–44 on May 17, In the year of our Lord Christ 2023
By Don Ruhl
Many people think that if they were present to see Jesus perform his miracles that they would believe. However, he stated a great truth when he said to some in his generation: “But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe” (John 6.36).
Think about it. People saw his works and heard his words, but they still crucified him!
Would we be different if we do not believe today? Why do we think we would believe if we saw him?
Questions:
- Do you believe right now that Jesus is the Son of God?
- If not, what do you think it would take to persuade you that he is?
