New Testament: Rom 8.30
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 8.19–39 on August 8, In the year of our Lord Christ 2024
By Don Ruhl
God predestined that those who answer his call shall be conformed to the image of his Son.
Paul explained further what that meant: “Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified” (Romans 8.30).
If you have answered his call, you have been predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.
If he has called you, he has also justified you, so that your sin will not be held against you.
If he has justified you, then you have the super magnificent hope of God glorifying you!
Questions from today’s reading and devotional:
- Can anyone be against us successfully if God is for us?
- We are more than what through him who loved us?
