To read the Bible in a year, read Third John on December 8, In the year of our Lord 2016

If you can speak in person, face to face, that is best, but sometimes you just cannot. If that be the case, then write, but so write as though you are speaking in person. John wrote in his Third Letter,
I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and ink; but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name (3 John 13–14).
Do you hear and see the love between Christians of the first century in John’s words? Is it difficult to say and to mean the same things as John did? No, we can do it. Therefore, let us do it.
- Do you find it difficult or awkward to speak face to face with your brethren?
- If so, why?
