07.07.2017 – New Testament: Acts 14.17
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 14 on July 7, In the year of our Lord 2017
By Don Ruhl
God knows you and loves you. Therefore, He wants you to know Him and to love Him. He shows His love for you daily with the things He provides for your body, as Paul said to a group of people,
“Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness” (Acts 14.17).
How did Paul say that God provided a witness of His existence? He did good, giving rain and fruitful seasons, and those harvest times give food and that filled everyone with gladness.
Questions:
- Can you see the work of God in the operation of the earth?
- If God does not exist, how could all these things work to our benefit?
- If God does not exist, could it have happened by accident that food fits us perfectly and we can digest it perfectly?
