God used Paul to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, moving the apostle to write,
For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ (Romans 15.18–19).
All the power came from God and so Paul would give all the glory to God, and not speak of anything as being purely done by himself. Knowing that it was all of God, the apostle had the energy and resources to continue preaching this message everywhere he could.
- Does God work through you?
- Do you give God glory?
