08.17.2017 – New Testament: Rom 15.21
To read the Bible in a year, read Romans 15.21–33 on August 17, In the year of our Lord 2017

Most Christians believe that we should have nothing to do with the Old Testament, which is unfortunate, because Paul often quoted it in support of what he was doing as a preacher, such in Romans 15 where he revealed his goal of preaching where no one else had preached before, backing up his goal with this,
but as it is written:
“To whom He was not announced, they shall see;
And those who have not heard shall understand.”
(Romans 15.21)
Paul quoted Isaiah 52.15 to support his work as a preacher of New Testament doctrine. Do not turn away from the Old Testament, but recognize it as the word of God just as much as you do the New Testament.
Questions:
- Do you read the Old Testament?
- If not, why not?
You know the OT is my MAIN guide and learning tool. 🙂

I love the Old Testament. Unfortunately many Christians speak against the Old Testament without realizing that they are speaking against the word of God, hence against God Himself.
