After Israel made the tabernacle, the heads of the tribes of Israel each wanted to make an offering, bringing the offerings before the Lord and presenting the offerings before the tabernacle: 

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Accept these from them, that they may be used in doing the work of the tabernacle of meeting; and you shall give them to the Levites, to every man according to his service.”

– Numbers 7.4–5 

When people see a good work, they want to contribute to it. Encourage those contributions and accept them. And do not forget yourself, that you should give too. 

Questions: 

• Do you believe that if you give generously to good works and to the church that the Lord shall take care of you? 
• Do you give every first day of the week to the church?
