Old Testament: Deu 22.4
To read the Bible in a year, read Deuteronomy 20–22 on March 13, In the year of our Lord Christ 2022
By Don Ruhl
The Scriptures have always taught that we should help our brother, such as in this case:
“You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fall down along the road, and hide yourself from them; you shall surely help him lift them up again.”
– Deuteronomy 22.4
Is that not loving your neighbor as yourself and is it not practicing the Golden Rule that we do unto others as we would have them to do us?
We are here for one another. Our lives are not about us alone, but we honor God first, and we seek to be a blessing to our brother.
Questions:
- Have you tried hiding yourself from helping your brother?
- Has your brother tried hiding himself from helping you?
