Old Testament: Job 19.25–27

Job wanted his words preserved, knowing that someday he would see God and could have all his words stated before God, but in saying this, Job also appeared to affirm a bodily resurrection: 

“For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,
Whom I shall see for myself,
And my eyes shall behold, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!”

– Job 19.25–27 

Job knew that his Redeemer always lived, being unaffected by death and that once Job himself had died, he would see his Redeemer, who was God. Yet, the reading of the New King James Version indicates that Job would be in his flesh when he saw God. If that is a correct reading, it shows that Job had the hope of a resurrection.
