Some people can see no wrong in their family members and other people can see no good in their family members. Yet, God gave us families and Paul used his family to great advantage. 

Paul’s nephew learned of a plot by the Jews to ambush him while the Romans transported him, but when the nephew told Paul, he knew what to do: 

So when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their ambush, he went and entered the barracks and told Paul. Then Paul called one of the centurions to him and said, “Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to tell him.” So he took him and brought him to the commander and said, “Paul the prisoner called me to him and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to say to you.” Then the commander took him by the hand, went aside, and asked privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”

The commander took Paul’s nephew in private, learned of the plot, and the commander made plans to protect Paul. 

Why do some people put themselves at odds with everyone, even their own families? Do you do that? Why? Start today to see that God has put people around you, family, friends, and acquaintances, to help you. Be like Paul.
