Old Testament: Psa 130.7–8
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 128–131 on August 26, In the year of our Lord 2022
By Don Ruhl
As you read Psalm 130, you will hear the desperation of the psalmist, because he did not want the Lord to hold any of his sins against him. He ended the psalm with these words:
O Israel, hope in the LORD;
For with the LORD there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel
From all his iniquities.
– Psalm 130.7–8
Do not enter eternity with sin on your soul, but seek the Lord’s redemption immediately, seeking His forgiveness, and He will give it.
Questions:
- Is the Lord your hope?
- Do you believe that the Lord can redeem you from all your iniquities?
