Praise the Lord everywhere

Old Testament: Psa 150.1

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 148–150 on September 1, In the year of our Lord Christ 2021

By Don Ruhl

The Book of Psalms ends appropriately with Psalm 150 by declaring in all thirteen lines that we should praise the Lord. Yes, my brother psalmist, we have read the Book of Psalms, and we are persuaded that we should, and that we want to praise the Lord everywhere that we can, as Psalm 150 announces in the beginning:

Praise the LORD!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!

– Psalm 150.1

Praise the Lord when you are assembled with the church, and praise him when you are outside and you see the wonderful sky, day or night.

Look for any reason and any time to praise the Lord. Watch what it does to your soul.

Questions:

  • When do you praise the Lord most often?
  • What thing about the Lord impresses you most?
