Old Testament: Isa 25.9

As our generation struggles with problems of living, seeking to find a way of salvation out of all those troubles, we all need to hear what Isaiah said: 

And it will be said in that day:

“Behold, this is our God;
We have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the LORD;
We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”

– Isaiah 25.9 

Don’t you just love that declaration: Behold! This is our God! We wait for him, because we know he will save us, and that brings us gladness. 

Whereas, the world does not know him and proposes solutions that generally only make problems worse. 

Praise God that we know him.
