Enemies of the church shall not prevail

Old Testament: Isa 54.16–17

To read the Bible in a year, read Isaiah 53–55 on October 14, In the year of our Lord 2022

By Don Ruhl

Our enemies never seem to run out of ideas on how to attack the church, or the Bible, or our God. However, the Lord gives us this assurance:

“Behold, I have created the blacksmith
Who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work;
And I have created the spoiler to destroy.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.

– Isaiah 54.16–17

He knows every weapon that they form, but He also knows that they shall not have the final victory over us. He assures us that we shall condemn them.
