If you believe the two greatest historical events ever, then you will also believe in another event, that is still future, and it will be something in which you will participate and you will never experience anything greater on this earth. Paul told the Thessalonians:
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
– 1 Thessalonians 4.14
Yes, Jesus died. Yes, Jesus rose again from the dead. Likewise, God will cause the worldwide resurrection, and those who sleep in Jesus will come with him on that last great day.
