Peter, James, and John experienced something that they undoubtedly remembered until they day that they died: 

Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them.

– Mark 9.2 

What a privilege to go with Jesus to a high mountain! What a greater privilege to see him change in appearance. Would you like to have been Peter, James, or John? 

Let me tell you something. If you follow Jesus Christ all the days of your life, you will go to where he is now and see something far greater than those three men saw that day. 

Questions: 

• When Jesus was transfigured, what else did the three apostles see and hear? 
• Do you try to imagine how Jesus looks in his glory?
